Scope:

The international symposium "From Glasses to Life: Non-equilibrium Physics of Complex Matter" aims to bridge fundamental research on glass and jamming transitions with diverse applications in soft matter, active matter, and biological systems. Researchers from physics, chemistry, materials science, medicine, and related fields will gather to explore the universal principles governing non-equilibrium dynamics, structural disorder, and collective behavior. The symposium will showcase cutting-edge theoretical, experimental, and computational advances in glass and jamming physics, active matter, and complex flow phenomena, while focusing on their connections to biological systems and practical applications. Through interdisciplinary discussions, we will forge new research directions that connect fundamental non-equilibrium physics with diverse complex systems—ranging from amorphous solids and granular materials to biological matter and medical challenges. Such cross-disciplinary exchanges aim to establish a unified theoretical framework for the universal understanding of glass and jamming phenomena and their practical applications.

We invite submissions for contributed oral presentations and poster presentations at this workshop. 
Those who wish to give a contributed oral presentation are asked to complete the registration and submit their presentation title and abstract by the deadlines listed below. Please proceed from Registration in the menu on the left, select the appropriate category, and complete your registration by the relevant deadline. Participation in the banquet will be confirmed during registration.
