Description
Recently, metastable cosmic strings are attracting attention as a possible origin of the stochastic gravitational wave background evidenced by pulsar timing array expriments. We study their dynamics by simulating them numerically. Processes such as nongravitational energy dissipation from cosmic string segments will be discussed.
