Description

By employing the potential non-relativistic quantum chromodynamics
(pNRQCD) effective field theory within an open quantum system framework, we derive a Lindblad equation governing the evolution of the heavy-quarkonium reduced density matrix. In this framework we study bottomonium suppression in heavy ion collisions, including oxygen-oxygen.
We also discuss bottomonium thermalization and the quantum structure of the bottomonium non-equilibrium evolution in the quark-gluon-plasma.
